About Us

The Self Employed Tax Calculator is an idea that was born from our personal need to get on top of our own taxes each month, without spending a fortune at any high street accountant. We found there was simply no accountant that specialized solely in contractor accounting for a reasonable fee.

We've always believed that contractor accounting does not have to be rocket science. By creating this online tax tool, which helped us personally each month to manage our taxes, we thought it could surely help other contractors in the same position as us, so we made it public!
